When choosing an air bearing system, or other Hovair Systems pneumatic
powered product, it is important that you select the right air bearing
for the particular job you are going to do. Our sales and support team
will be helping you with this and they will ensure you make the right
decisions for your load moving needs.

Air bearings are available in a variety of sizes, ranging from 12-inch
diameter with a weight capacity of ½ ton through to 48-inch diameter
with a capacity of 44 tons.

Selecting the right air bearing for the job is probably the most
important feature you need to consider when ordering an air bearing
system to move your heavy loads. All air bearings are designed to float
loads across floor surfaces, and some bearings will lift the load
vertically off its base before floating it to its destination.

Hovair Systems offers the option of A-type or B-type bearings to suit the
requirements of the application, so it is important to select the right
bearing for the job.

In addition to selecting the right air bearing for the job, it is also
important to select the right type of load module for the job. There are
four basic module options, each designed for a particular style of load
moving.
